Green Smoothie

Use as many organic ingredients as possible!

  • Banana, frozen: 1 whole in pieces

  • Berries, frozen: ½ cup

  • Fruit, misc., fresh (pear, apple, kiwi, mango, pineapple, not citrus): ½ cup 

  • Kale or spinach: a generous handful chopped

  • Nut/seed butter: ¼ cup

  • Yogurt, plain or compatible flavor, full-fat: ¼ cup

  • Protein powder: manufacturers. recc. (maybe a little less)

  • “Green powder”, e.g. spirulina/chlorella/wheat grass, etc.: mftrs. recc.

  • Fruit juice: ½ cup

  • Milk, any kind: add to blender to desired consistency

  • Omega oils (hemp, flax, fish, coconut, etc.): 1T (or add ½ avocado)

  • Chia seeds: 1T

Bonus extras: maca, ginseng, bee pollen, brewer's yeast...whatever you need

*These amounts yield enough to share or save some to feel EPIC again!
